Horses Have Wings is about the life of a Horse Whisperer/Listener. The message is universal: it is about love and understanding. It is also about the nature of healing, and of intuition.

This book will appeal to anyone who owns horses, trains horses, or has a love for animals in general. It is also a good read, for anyone at all! It is intriguing and engaging.

There is a fair amount of humour and storytelling; this is not a technical book. This material will have mass appeal: it can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of whether the reader inclines toward 'being horsey or follows 'new age' precepts, although these can be found in the book without looking too hard...

It is also about compassion, the author's own difficulties in understanding the nature of intuitive vision are shared here; and what horses themselves might be feeling.

People are looking for ways to connect with their animals. Ways which go beyond the current conventional approaches, which do not seem to go beyond dominating the horse and which have not included a view through the eye of the horse. The book offers this view.

What sociologists and psychologists seem to be saying today is that the sickness of our time is separateness, loneliness. We feel we are alone, isolated from one another, cut off from Source...many even denying it's existence. But are we really, are ever, completely alone? Intuition reminds us of our unity, our Oneness with all things.

It reminds us that we are always far greater than we believe ourselves to be, and that all things are always possible.

Horses Have Wings is a book describing the work I have been doing with horses, as a 'horse whisperer' over the last 11 years. It is not a treatise on intuition, nor is it a 'how to' book. I believe that the healing work I do with horses comes naturally; it comes naturally. However, one does not have to be an artist, nor does one even need to understand the artist's process of creation, to appreciate Art.

So it is in this spirit that I offer my story for general appreciation. The case histories I offer in this book are unembellished. That's how they happened! That's what I experienced, modified by my own perspective. Developing a language, a syntax around intuition was never going to be easy. Instead, I have chosen to simply present cases as they occurred...
